Did chambers flip someone off?

Someone over in the comments section at desnews that chambers flipped someone off, I didn't see it, did he???

Do you guys realize that if a big deal is made about this that an inhouse discipline could turn into a game suspension for chambers? If I were a mod, I would remove this thread.

I don't think it warrantes a one game suspension...maybe a quarter or two, That will right the ship.

Yes, but you are not representing the LDS church's flagship school. The media always decries hypocracy for BYU's moral standard when players make stupid decisions like that. Max hall got caught swearing on TV a couple of times and the media made a huge deal out of it, when if he were playing at other schools, they would have hardly noticed.

Youtube is not the media. Chambers will not be suspended. The worst I could see happening is Hair issuing a verbal repremand as I'm sure the conference is going to have it out for us this season. If Bronco hears about it he may make Chambers do some more running at practice. Maybe he will be holding the football the whole time he is running. That would be a novel idea.

No way man. If you do that you're helping him get away with it. The flip-off isn't a big deal until you try to cover it up. I wouldn't expect Chambers to be suspended but it looks REALLY bad if you try to sweep it under the rug.

how is it sweeping it under the rug if a message board doesn't help the media get its attention focused on it?

But youtube might be able to get media attention on the matter.

Some time ago, here in Florida, we were having a terrible rainstorm. I has to stop for a red light and a cop pulls up next to me. No big deal. Suddenly, a bird flies into my windshield and is killed and my wipers fling it over on the cop's car. The light turns green and I take off, but then I realize that cop has his lights on and is coming after me. I pull over under a covered area and the dude gives me a ticket for flipping him the bird. :bug: :bug:



For the humor impaired, it's a pun and never happened. My younger boys love it when I tell people this story. They love seeing how people react to it.

Who cares? It's football... I remember a couple times where Ty Detmer was caught on the referees mic, cussing up a storm.



Bronco Mendenhall knows about the heat of battle and what's said every down between teams.



OC is an emotional guy and has hurt the team with some on field behavior, but this particular instance is nothing.



If you listen real close you can hear him saying what we all wanted to say, "Welcome to the real Quarterback U, now please leave while I go polish the 84 national championship trophy." ;)

Not a big deal at all, unless it is a lead up to a stupid PF later on... Chambers sure has a lot of talk, I would like to see him back that up with game more often.
