I dont know if my next point was posted elsewhere, but I heard on KSL postgame tonight a story about Max the other night. If you watched the game, there was a time when the announcers were going on about MAx while he was on the phone listening intently. I honestly thought it was the owners telling him he just made the team. However, He got off the phone with a look of concern and went over and talked to another player. What was said on the phone was that no one gave Max permission to do the tv interview and that he was going to be fined $1,000. Thus the look of concern. Later the owner met with MAx and said he was joking about the fine and told him he just made the team!! Great job MAx.

Coming from a Browns fan who had to put up with this clown the last few years, I can tell you with a certainty. As long as they don't pick up another starting QB Max will get some serious playing time. Anderson is awful! well at least awfully inconsistent. He can go from being one of the best QB's in the NFL on a drive to being, somebody that just doesn't belong holding a football at all! I want to say this is a great opportunity for Max, which I believe it is, but I've been wrong before when I thought that Miami was a great opportunity for Beck, we'll see could be exciting. Good for Max!

I guess at some point we need to start talking about max and his surrounding cast. I am not well versed in the starting O-line but i'm well aware of beanie wells, tim hightower, larry fitzgerald, early doucet, steve breaston, etc. They have weapons.



I'm just glad that max is getting paid and getting his due. His success and John Becks nice back to back contracts are going to help ensure the line of great quarterback recruits to BYU.
