GREAT game tonight. Enjoyed it thoroughly! I've been super psyched for MONTHS now for it. But I just found myself at so many points throughout the game saying to myself, "I just love Basketball more. I do." And no, this wasn't just after mistakes (shoot, there were hardly any!), and it wasn't just when we gave up scores. In fact, it was usually while we were doing well. That's what amazed me about it.

I just love my Cougar basketball TOO MUCH!!! I'm just TOO PSYCHED for Basketball season to start. GAAAAHHHHH!!!

Sorry GDNC, you are one sick puppy. Can somebody please call the doctor? :P

Right there with you Golf. For me, football is just a warm up to get me excited about basketball. We're going to have an awesome season and can't wait for Jimmer and Co to light it up. March can't come soon enough.

I can't say I like it as much as football, but it's not too far behind. I am WAY psyched for BBall season too. We should have a great team. I'm also excited that Harrison visited. I really think we'll get him. YESSSSS!!!

He has BYU leading since it was his first visit.

Yeah, Gunk, it's kind of you-and-me-against-the-world on this particular point, isn't it?

:P

Bout the middle of last football season, weren't you the one commenting that you were wondering when this type of post was going to come the corner's way compliments of me? It must be getting REAL bad for me that I can't make it past the first week.

Oh well, I'm PSYCHED for football season. Yes, I TRULY believe we CAN beat Florida State (and that'd be AWESOME, since DeMarcus Harrison will be THERE to see it as well!), and we're about sick and tired of losing to TCU. With a team as young as ours, I think they could walk in to the Toadstool (or whatever the idiots call that stadium) and punch 'em in the mouth.

BUT I CAN'T WAIT FOR BASKETBALL!!! I mean, we've got a team that could surpass last year's talent, and we were just a few ball bounces from making it to the same Sweet-16 as the non-entitled team that was, oh, ONE SHOT away from a national title. We WOULD have beated Xavier, and we WOULD have beaten Butler. THAT'S how basketball-blue-goggled I am! NO! It's NOT unrealistic! SO many Basketball brains last year had us in the Elite 8! Next year, we can put the talent on the floor to FORCE those bounces our way. We can put together a record and resume that will FORCE the Tourney Committee to give us a seed we deserve, and now that we have the win monkey off our back, WE MIGHT JUST FORGET HOW TO LOSE!!!

I'm SOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!

Can we just fast forward to December...after the football melt down this week I'm even more anxious for bball to get started.

For me college football is king. Then HS football, then college bball, then nfl. So at least it is a top 3 in my world!

Shouldn't be too hard to like BBall more this year. ;)

I'm more of a seasonal fan. Love fball in the fall, bball in the winter.

Urroner, you, by yourself, are three of the strangest people I've ever had the honor of (kindof) knowing.

LITERALLY ROFLOL!!! Urroner, my 3-year-old walked up behind me, STARED at your picture for a second, pointed at it and said, "Dad, that's a chimp-monkey!" (3-yr-old-speak for chimpanzee). AWESOME!!!

What??? The child didn't run away screaming for mommy. That is one tuff offspring you have there GDNC, especially for an offspring of somebody who openly brags they love golf.

Fair. (and yes, he's a tough kid). Although, "bragging" would be one of the last words I'd ever use in relation to my golf game, even in describing my love for it. My golf game is nigh unto as ugly as your avatar (and, yes, I realize the severity of that statement!). Just goes to show I'm a glutton for punishment. My first love is with BYU Basketball (CHRONOLOGICALLY!!!! C'mon, what kind of husband and father do you think I AM???).
