Reggie Rembert injures neck on tackle

It's never good to hear about injuries, particularly to such a class program like AFA and to an all america candidate and heart/soul of that AF defense; BUT... the AFA game was a real scheduling disaster for BYU this early in the season with such a young team and losing Rembert puts BYU as prohibitive favorite. That would be like us losing Andrew Rich.

Do we know this injury will keep him out of next weeks game? I didn't see that in the article.

Rember was down for 10 minutes and taken off on a stretcher. If you're Rembert or AFA would you take the liability risk by playing a week later?



Any head or neck injury is serious. Hell Justin Morneau has been out for the last month in baseball for a concussion (to my dismay and fantasy team). I dont' know the extent of the injury but I'd be shocked if we saw him next week.



Rembert is the Sam Bradford of the AFA defense. Their entire season changes without him.



Course AFA is playing a DII team that went 0-11 least year. Maybe Rembert didn't need to be on the field in the 1st place.
