Uh Oh...Florida State

So not that it really means anything based on the quality of their opponent, but Florida State put up 42 points on Samford in the first half.



I think this game will be a real challenge, and it will be interesting to see how FSU does without Bobby Bowden.



I hope they do really well except when we play them.... :)

This was Samford (not Stanford). If we put 40 plus points on SUU in the first half I don't think Florida State would worry a whole lot.



Florida State will be tough enough, but I wouldn't base my concerns on this particular game.

Maybe this is the polar opposite from last year, where we were all extremely confident because FSU played weak against some Florida FCS team the week before. I hope.

I for one was overconfident last year because FSU squeaked by that FCS team (Jacksonville State) before they handed our behinds to us.



I think the Cougars won't overlook this game. Last year we were a little full of orselves after the victory over OK.

Jimbo is off to a good start. Its seems clear from suspensions that he has brought discipline to the team. Mix that w all that speed and talent and my prediction is that FSU will make a strong comeback. But again, 1 week and 1 very weak opponent....
