Is there a greater backdrop in college football?

Lavell Edwards Stadium has got to be number 1 in prettiest backdrop.

There was a blog back in 2007 a guy was running where he visited (at least tried to visit) all of the stadiums in 1A football. He was really impressed with BYU.

I've always like Army's backdrop...not nearly as good, but still pretty.

BYU does have it pretty good. For what its worth though, I think Romney Stadium, though smaller and affiliated with Utah State, is probably the coolest "setting" from a fan perspective. There is just something cool about how the stadium is situated into the hillside.



Husky Stadium in Washington and Neyland Stadium in Tennessee are both pretty spectactular too. Not mountains like LES, but very cool.

I would put BYU and UW at the top of my lists for sure. Utah and Colorado are also really nice as they have mountain backdrops. Rose Bowl is pretty sweet too.

I can't give any props to usu until they at least get some bleachers in the end zone. Utah and Colorado are nice, but not as spectacular.
