Mtn rebroadcast rights

I'm sure that for as long as the mtn survives, we have no rights to our games, even after we leave. And I'm just as sure the mtn won't be rebroadcasting many BYU/Utah games (except perhaps the few we've lost).



Question: if and when the mtn folds, what happens to the rebroadcast rights for all the BYU games it has televised? Comcast on-demand? CBS? Would they revert to the teams?

If they declare bankruptcy then it can be auctioned. If they just disolve the owners will get the rights.

Good question. Maybe we won't get the last laugh. That would stink, stink. Stink to have those games buried.

I have every game since the 2006 season on DVD, so I'm good... :)

I am sure they would be more than happy to sell those rights to BYU. Question is how much is BYU willing to pay for them, when BYU would probably show them for free and not make $$$ on them. Unless some donor ponies up that $$$, I do not see it happening.
