Very interesting Afterthought

I went to the college football page on Yahoo! sports this morning and for the first time EVER they have a separate page of analysis for the MWC (rather than lumping the MWC with the "best of the rest"). I noticed immediately upon clicking the link the nice picture of Bronco:

Again, I have never seen a separate MWC analysis like this at Yahoo! My thought is that BYU's unprecedented deals with ESPN and Notre Dame have caught the national media's attention...so all eyes will be on BYU this season.



Coupled with Utah's pending move to the PAc 12, I can think of no other explanation as to why the MWC would get this kind of attention.

So the two reasons that the MWC is getting attention on Yahoo are from the two teams that are leaving the conference...I guess the conference should enjoy it's one season of people actually caring. Good Riddance
