FSN Utah/KSL/BYUTV broadcasts?

David Locke brought up some tv options I hadn't thought of. He mentioned that after ESPN takes their 4 home games, BYU will have 2 more open to sell. While we know they could broadcast them independently, he mentioned KSL or FSN Utah bidding on the games. This might not be a huge deal in Football, but it has bigger implications for basketball.



I would support a secondary contract with FSN Utah to broadcast basketball and a few football games since it is available on my cable now and I believe around the country, if you pick up the sports package, you can get all the FSN channels.



Thoughts?

FSN would be my last option. It's only available regionally. If they do end up selling to a region broadcaster, they'd better have simulcast on BYUTV or figure out a way to get the games out nationally.



Say what you will about the CSTV/MTN contracts, but it's been huge to be able to watch all football games and 90% of basketball games in Texas and Colorado the last few years. I don't want to see that change.
