CBS College Sports = Morons

I just saw the talking heads on CBS C discuss BYU going independent. Here's just a sample of the MANY incorrect facts they stated:



"It's not like it's 1984 when BYU won a National Championship and had Ty Detmer" = wrong



"BYU's trying to be like Texas" = wrong



"BYU's trying to be like Notre Dame" = wrong



"It'll be harder for BYU to get back into a conference during the next round a realignment" = wrong



"BYU thinks they're going to get a deal like Notre Dame with the BCS" = wrong



Just another example of broadcasters that have no idea what BYU is all about and what we're trying to accomplish

I don't believe they said any of that. The MWC doesn't associate themselves with such poor, uneducated, low-quality networks.



Shame on you for suggesting that they do. ;)

Bitter much? Sheesh, CBS-C, you could have prevented this by giving BYU some concessions... or at least shell out a little more cash.



I'm interested in seeing what the Mtn broadcasters say about BYU now too. Because in a matter of months, they'll all be looking for work.
