BCS Qualification

How will the BCS handle BYU? I had to update my middle option since a Top 10 finish would be easier than Notre Dame's and not between Navy and Notre Dame.

According to 1320 KFAN Navy's deal is actually ranked 6 they are auto qualifier for the BCS. Notre Dame gets in at top 8 auto bid. Both schools are eligible for at large bids in the top 12.



I would hope that BYU at a minimum gets top 6 consideration. Top 8 would be best case scenario. Top 7 would be good because it would seperate us from Navy.

No way we get a Notre Dame deal, we'll get the Navy treatment, but that's about what we got in the MWC anyway.

I'll take Navy treatment any day as long as it comes with 5x more $$ and better tv exposure.

I would expect it's the same as it's always been. We're still a non-AQ team, so the non-AQ criteria that have opened the door for BSU, Hawaii, Utah, and TCU will still apply to us.
