A lot of love for Oregon State in there. Wait, who did we absolutely destroy at the end of last season?

Herbie is a tool. Typical ESPN talking head. Once BYU and ESPN put pen to paper and sign a deal, this will all change.



I am pumped we have tons of doubters this year. Our talented youth will shock many people. Look forward to it.

at least he lists Salt Lake as one of the best places to fly to/through, so that's gotta count for something...

On paper, is he wrong? We follow the team more than just "on paper" so I think we have a better perspective of how we're going to replace QB, TE, and DL. Herbie probably gets a staff summary sheet of how many seniors are returning and writes his list from there. I doubt he gave 5 minutes of reading to BYU this spring/fall.

But even more love for Washington. Did you count the number of times Herbstreit falls over himself trying to get on the Jake Locker bandwagon?



For the record though, I'm fine with it, I hope ESPN puts its seal of sanctity on Jake Locker the same way it did with Sam Bradford.

Herb doesn't determine the outcome of the game. And the good news about being dissed is you can go beat UW, AF and FSU and gain a ton of respect, and jump into the rankings.

I would have no problem with this kind of opinion given all the seniors BYU lost last season that were so critical to the team.



Where the problem arises for me is when they continue to pimp teams like OSU, LSU, Florida and Texas even after they lose key contributing seniors. Look, I get that they think that those teams recruit well enough to stay on top, but why is it that when BYU not only has demonstrated that they can win 10+ games a year despite losing key players every year and with Bronco's recruiting classes are only getting better and better, we are a team moving downward?

I saw a stat that 50 of the 64 players on the travel team were underclassmen.

Herbie actually gave BYU a lot of love after we beat OU. Well... Until we layed an egg against Florida St.
