How the Independence saga could end

I don't think it is a matter of if now, but a question of when and where.

All I know is that the reasons BYU is considering an Indy move have not changed one bit in the last 2 weeks, so why should BYU stay in the MWC, absent a TV deal for football rights? I get that the Plan A did not work out, but as you might recall, Bronco was Plan C for the head coach job, and I think that has worked out just fine. Sometimes you have to take a chance, and I think many fans out there would be pumped to support BYU taking a chance. I would.

Well said. I agree the new home for other sports is really a minor detail. That is not to underplay the importance of basketball, but is the WAC really that much better than WCC? or a WAC without FSU and Nevada, is there really much of a difference?



The key is independent football, unless a BCS AQ option is available that allows broadcasting rights.
