I really think we may not hear until Wednesday. BYU does seem to be kind of enjoying this.

Does anyone know, does BYU need to let the MWC know if they are going to leave by Tuesday Aug 31 or can they announce on Sept 1? I know the date to inform the conference is Sept 1, but I can see Hair trying to screw BYU once more by saying things needed to be set Aug 31 and anything from Sept 1 forward would be too late. I would hate to see BYU have this great plan for indy and getting stuck back in the MWC on a technicality.

So was/is there a press conference? I see Wrubell has been makings some tweets just from Bronco and the game this weekend and other items of the team. So I am guessing no announcement today, am I wrong?

This is the regular Monday morning press conference. They have it every Monday morning during the season. With this being game week (week one), it was the first Monday morning press conference of the year.

The press conference was streamed live on BYUtv.org and it was awesome to be able to watch it. There was only one question regarding the uncertainty of the future home of BYU football and Bronco looked very prepared to answer the question. He basically said that he is out of the loop and is only informed of what is going on at critical junctures. He said Tom is running point on this and that the administration is working very hard to explore all of the options.



Other then that it was the typical game week presser.

I bet the empty shirts at the mwc loved watching it, and will probably pick it apart.



funny how Utah leaving to the PAC-12 has not received as much attention nor has Utah taken as many shots for leaving as BYU has for simply considering options. Tells you that BYU gets fans more emotional than Utah has. Or any other team in conference. Getting your ass whipped by a team repeatedly over many years does than I guess.
