LDS Bishop killed during church in California

Craziest thing about this, is I worked a summer in Visalia and might have met this guy.



Killer walks into church, asks for a leader, and is pointed to the bishop's office. shoots the guy in cold blood DURING church. Police find him and kill him about an hour later in the street.



California is NOT one of my favorite places right now. Scriptures about the blood of the Saints crying for vengeance come to mind.

Terrible tragedy.

So far, it looks like just a bitter guy who's not all the way there taking a long held grudge on an innocent victim. I was scared that it was going to be Prop 8 related.

I saw a piece on the news last night which looked like the murderer's brother. He claimed they were members many years ago and that his brother was mentally ill. Two of the murderers friends also claimed that after a stint in prison, he routinely claimed the police had planted microchips in his brain and they could hear everything he said.
