What is a Blue Shirt?

I get the redshirt (do not play and it does not count againts your 4 years) and greyshirt (don't attend school until after the season so it doesn't count as a year). What is Blue shirt?

My guess is that it's the same thing as a red shirt, but BYU fans want to distance themselves from that horrid color and everything associated with it. Kinda like the blue zone instead of the red zone.

Blue Shirt is the equivalent of a red shirt

Blue Zone is the same as the red zone.

I don't know why a redshirt would be inaccurate since those redshirting are not allowed to play on the team, but really want to and are envious of the other BYU players . . . Kind of like those red shirts up north. So I guess red shirt is appropriate.

There is also a "greenshirt" now, used to refer to kids like Heaps and Apo who graduate from high school early and enroll in college early enough to participate in Spring ball. So Heaps and Apo are greenshirt freshmen.

Yeah, I don't mind the term redshirt. If you're a player, the blue zone is where you want to be. Being "blueshirted" is not.

Go Dog Go was actually a work by PD Eastman, who was a protege of the good Doctor.

I know it was Eastman but nobody knows Eastman and everyone recognizes Dr Suess. And since it was a Dr Suess I can read all by myself book I said Dr Suess. It was in the immortal words of Dr Suess or PD Eastman Dr Suess wannabe so I went with Dr Suess. :)
