@ 5 PM PK tweets "West Coast Conference". He followed that with, "Any substance? Think so. But don't mistake it for anything official. Was certain WAC deal was going down. Next day, it blows up. Crazy"



With Wrubell saying he thinks BYU is still going indy, this is sounding more plausible. This is like watching a dang ping pong match!

Well even if he is right its not like it was stretch to get there. we know we are going indy becuase we know hair and the other morons hate byu so much they are not giving any type of concessions.



that leaves the wac or wcc. do we really think we can add good teams to the wac in a day. i don't, so what is left, the wcc.



most likely its indy in football and wcc in the rest. Im okay with that. Screw the mwc. can't wait for those morons at the mtn to lose their jobs.

Of course that doesn't work completely as we have more/different sports than the wcc has, but I guess softball doesn't matter.

Declare indy and you don't have to say where the rest are going. There is still time for that. Anyways we might be in Big12 (or PAC-12) for a year to make it 12 until Colorado moves.

All of the teams won't be in WCC if we go that route. MSPF for the rest of the teams.

This has been addressed several times in multiple threads, our other sports will be fine, please do some homework.

It has been stated several times in other threads that with BYU the other five WCC schools that play Softball could move that that sport to the WCC fold from the MPSF. In fact, the WCC and MPSF are stronger than the WAC or MWC in several of sports, including baseball & soccer in the WCC and indoor track in the MPSF.

WCC fan's take of where BYU would fit in their conference. Not #1 except one sport.

Thanks for the info. It confirms what I have been suspecting. I live in the NW and having a strong BYU presence here, along with a TV package that gets the games to us, would be great.

One other benefit, it would be nice to see John Stockton at BYU's @Gonzaga game each year...
