Biggest surprise to me is that Travis Tuiloma could be redshirting. Otherwise confirmation that Drew Phillips getting held out of practice will likely end up costing his this year.

Edit: Misread the article a little, it's actually "Redshirt candidates" so nothing's set in stone yet.

I would not be surprised to see Philip, Everett and Tuiloma play this year.

"The main point to emphasize is, these are redshirt candidates," Mendenhall said. "That means based on how they handle this year will determine whether they redshirt or not. If they don't try hard enough in the weight room or if they don't work hard enough in practice or if they squander this opportunity, it would be a wasted year."
