Miami fans discuss playing indy BYU

Most of them seem in favor of it. (WARNING: There is some mildly colorful language.)

I've got a brother out in Tennesse that says he's hearing from alot of their fans that they would love to play BYU and would love to do a Home and Away with them. He's been very impressed with how many people have talked with him since Indi news broke.

I have a co-worker who is a UMiami law alum. He had season tickets to UMiami for years and is still a Canes fan. He says he wishes Miami never joined the ACC and had stayed independent. Liked the schedule options better, says Miami won all their titles as an Indy, and liked not be tied to a conference and having the Indy label. He wishes Miami stood alone now, like Notre Dame, and thinks it is a cool and ballsy move for BYU to make, and he supports it. By the way, he is also Crimson Club, but not a BYU hater, and respects BYU, what it stands for, etc. I thought his comments were interesting.

No way would I agree to going back to Provo. It's a long way there, the altitude, the temperature if we don't play in September, etc.

Ha ha somebody has some bad memories about playing in Provo... :lol:

It sounds like for the most part the Miami fans think highly of BYU
