Max Hall: Throwing Awesome against Titans

Max has by far had the fastest and tightest ball out of the backups that have played tonight. I've been impressed by his throwing, but he also has the best looking interception too...The drive wouldn't have stalled had receivers not dropped 2 passes perfectly thrown and got a late holding penalty.

Max has just completed back to back completions well over 10 yards...they keep talking about free agents and not dishing out yardage...that's right. I forgot espn always do stupid interviews during games and forgets about the game.

Quickness, Body, Fast Anticipation...just threw an accurate 25+ yard pass!!!

Max just threw an awesome ball right into the endzone. "A strike" and the receiver dropped the ball wide open!!!!

Dude's getting lots of love from the commentators too. Good on 'im.

His final series he has thrown 3 straight completions, a lineman linedup behind the line...penalty.

Max just threw a Collie type bomb and the wide open receiver dropped it...again. That's 3 unacceptable drops, hence 3 WRs to keep off fantasy football.

Max was definitely the best looking QB today. Even when the pocket was collapsing he did a great job keeping his eyes down field and knowing where the open guy was.

Go Max! Matt Lienhart better watch his back, he didn't look too hot. Always thought that dude was an overrated tool anyway.

He looked good tonight. Jon Gruden heaped on the praise, which gave me hope that Max may still earn a spot on the roster.

Don't get too excited. His interception was a terrible decision and hopefully he learns that you can't just chuck the ball down the field and have your guy catch it. That play reminded me of the 08 Utah game when he threw the ball deep to Collie along the sideline and had Robert Johnson come over from the free safety spot and easily intercept the ball. He has a lot to work on to have a chance in the league. For his first time seeing action against NFL 3rd string players it wasn't bad, but we probably won't get to see what he could do if they let him play with Fitzgerald and Wells. Just like we wouldn't get too excited about Lark having a good outing in practice against our 2's and 3's.



Comparing how Hall looked this game to how Skelton looked last game it was Skelton by a mile. Plus the Cardinals used a draft pick on him, so its unlikely that they will keep Hall as the 3rd string. The more Hall gets to play in these last two games the more likely it will be that he gets picked up by another team before he clears waivers with Arizona. Worst case scenario is he is on their practice squad this year.

Okay, is it just me, or did anyone else feel a little dirty cheering for Max Hall because he was wearing red?

I totally agree. I was watching that thinking Max doesn't look that great in red :sick:
