And then Locker got knocked out for the season the very next game, rendering that season sample worthless.



Does that change the fact that they still went 0-12?



Plus, BYU won in Seattle when Locker was healthy and full speed and has not lost to UW at home. BYU plays way better at home, especially v. PAC-0 schools. And we are more talented rigt now than then, especially on D.



Not with a new QB and especially with no running back and if BYU has an achilles heel, it's their pass defense, specifically the secondary. Any non-conference foe (D I-A) with a good QB, decent RB and receivers is going to cause the Cougs problems, period.

The problem with Airwolf isn't the incessant negativity and poor stat-backing of his posts. We've got plenty of similarly guilty posters here that manage just fine. I don't mind posters that "keep things interesting." The real problem with Airwolf is that his prolific posting dominates the board with this type of tripe, lowering the quality of the forum by turning the prevailing discussion to constant bickering over a useless cause (convincing him he's wrong).



Airwolf is worse than a troll or a ute, because his methods are more insidious. If this keeps up I recommend his removal from the board, unless he can calm down a little and concede disagreement every once in a while rather than constantly fanning the flames.

No, I became public enemy #1 in here 7 years ago (can't believe it has been that long :bug: ) when I predicted BYU to get blown out by 30+ points to both CSU and Boise State (at home no less) in '03. Those two predictions started a campaign of hate that has never subsided since all because the Cougs were outscored 108-25 in two games, with my predictions being spot on.

Again, having a different opinion isn't what you're doing wrong. You change the character of the message board and delight in the fact that everyone is spitting all their venom in your direction. I don't want this to become "Anti-Airwolf" Corner.

I agree. I hope that Airwolf can tone down his rhetoric and be just another poster on here with a different opinion and able to back it up with stats and data or agree to disagree. But if it is just a continuation of "it's a fact", etc, and the board becomes to negative he will be removed.

Nope. You became a private enemy of mine when you called the entire administration of BYU hypocrites because the (gasp) charged for the food at LES. You constantly intimate that they are lining their pockets with the money of people who cannot afford what BYU is charging and that BYU is run by evil people. I couldn't care less about you always being wrong about sports, or your constantly trying to state how you are constantly almost right, it's your "BYU is run by evil people, and I know it because I'm a social worker" attitude that gets on my nerves.
