What's the status on Utah and them selling their soul?

Has there been any more info on where Utah stands with their name change since accepting the PAC invite?



Or is it all just a rumor that was mentioned on here a week ago?



I know they got a real Red Tail Hawk to appear before each home game. Is this so they can phase out the drum and feather and possibly the "Ute"?

I haven't heard anything more on this although someone on UteFans thought feather motif would still work with some variation of hawk in the nickname.



I say they should just go the Madonna route and simply be "Utah". No nickname. :roll:

It sucks to have no tradition or identity of your own. Whether it is the tomohawk stolen from fsu or the u stolen from the hurricanes, utah just has no tradition or identity. they need to pick something and stick with it. Then they need to keep winning for about another 20 years. Maybe by then they won't have to steal from other programs.

So was it being talked on there, that Utah should called Utah Hawks or something?

This just in.. The state of Utah will have to change its name due to the inappropriateness of being named after a native American tribe. :P

Utah could rename to Brigham Young United, or BYU for short
