This Just In has learned that BYU will announce that it will leave the MWC to become independant in football, and it will allign with the WCC for all other sports.



Commisioner Thompson promptly invited the entire WCC to join the MWC to form a basketball super-conference.

This just in: Craig Thompson goes from the MWC's most hated individual to the savior of the MWC literally over night. FSU and UNR - in a similar fashion - go from being perceived as weak and incompetent to being viewed as adequate replacements for BYU. Senator John Kerry to sue MWC fans for stealing his trade-marked "flip-flopping".

Hair Thompson has just announced that the MWC will be investing it's money in the stock market which "from insider information, we know will definitely go up". Wall Street Traders exit the stock Market en masse as soon as the press release was announced.



This just in has learned that Hair Thompson doesn't like the nickname "Hair". Even more amazing was the futile attempt Thompson made in High School to remove the stigma but ended up with "Mullet' Thompson" and quickly went back.



MWC is making multiple overtures to keep money-making and MWC founder BYU in its conference. Some headline specifics include: destroying the WAC conference. Refusing to make concessions, outright lying to the media, slander, and in one noteworthy case, spitting in Holmoe's Postum during a recent conference meeting.



In related we-don't-trust-a-word-he-says news, Craig Thompson announces that university of Utah is returning to the MWC! Unfortunately he also announces that Florida State, Notre Dame, Texas, College of William and Mary, and Harvard will be joining as well.



MWC TV-market math FAIL: Fresno/Visalia ranked 55th + Reno ranked 108th > salt lake city ranked 31st. Or in other words assuming every TV set would watch, 570k + 270k > 950k. in other Failed Math, MTN network revenues divided by 9 is greater than MTN network revenues divided by 11. Good work boys.



this just in has learned that yes, in fact, the frUtes are laughing their heads off. Regardless of their soul-selling Pac-12 move, most soul-less Ute fans feel that they didn't give up much and at least they don't have to deal with any of this crap.
