From now on - it gets serious. The "real deal." It's been serious all along - but - now they get down to brass tacks! Football season is so close I can feel it. Yowza!!!!

Yes - it has to as they begin prep for UW. It means the QB, LB, TE and KO, PR positions need to be selected so 1st teamers can start working together for specific opponent schemes and tendencies.

Per comments from Bronco yesterday, there may be one final scrimmage on Wednesday, and then UW preps begin on Thursday. So basically, Bronco will name a starter next Wednesday eve or Thursday morning, so the team can prepare accordingly. But I still think both guys play and get reps for the UW game. I think the coaches have the game plan all ready to go, and know who they want. It is just about telling the team and practicing the plays and schemes.

The Coaching Staff know who will start against UW. I'm glad they have not made an announcement. The QB's & Team will be told sometime this next week behind closed doors. I hope no announcement is made. Keep it private. I hope we get the - "It will be a game time decision." Perfect. Keep the cards close to the vest. Make UW guess. Make them prepare for the great unknown!!! We will need every edge we can get. This will be a bare knuckle, smash mouth game.
