I feel bad...

...for Utah State. Normally, I wouldn't give a crap about them. But it seems that they were our ally in this craziness. They were THISCLOSE to having the chance to join the MWC (aka their dream come true), and they turned it down - and they were screwed over because they stood by their commitment to us and their WAC brethren. Who knows what happens to them now. Screw the MWC. Screw Hair. Screw all those BYU-hating fans of all the other pathetic teams in this conference (especially the three fans in Laramie) that we've been carrying around on our backs for decades.



I hope there's some way that the WAC can survive, even if we aren't any part of it, just for the sake of the teams that just got hosed by Fresno and Reno (RENO is in the MWC? WTF!???!?!?). I hope they can convince some combo of UTEP/SMU/Tulsa/Houston/Washington St ( :) ) to come on over.



Message to Holmoe: Unless required by conference affiliation (please, oh, please, NO!), NEVER, EVER, EVER schedule Fresno and/or Reno in ANY SPORT EVER AGAIN!

Utah St. owes us big for keeping their football program in the FBS at all. They wouldn't even be in the WAC if it wasn't for us. I'm glad they stuck to their commitment, but I don't think that you should be applauded simply for doing what you should.

Agreed. USU did the right thing for BYU. Too bad they will suffer for it. I can see BYU returning to a home and home for a while and even adding a home and home in basketball each season.



As for FSU and Reno, never, ever play them OOC when that day comes.

I would feel more sorry for them if their AD hadn't released the "open letter about how awesome we are and how much integrity we have".
