Two thoughts:



1) Who cares? Even had we been there and voted 'no' we would have been out-voted and I understood that it was a majority rule for an invite.



2) why on earth did BYU leave the MWC table with no school representation at such a time of flux? If someone had to leave, sobeit but get someone, an intern, anyone to at least take notes and make phone calls. Had BYU known earlier, perhaps a few phone calls might have prevented the WAC from disintegrating.

I understand the MWC protecting itself and they probably made the right decision in inviting more schools but wow is Thompson looking like the back-room dealer. Not to mention an out-right liar.



And as if that's not enough, USU is making sure that Fresno and and Reno are getting dragged through the mud for leaving a conference they promised to stick to less than 24 hours before.

So if the MWC thinks it knows what a vote is going to be it shouldn't bother having them at the table?



There should be no vote taken unless ALL members of the conference are present and allowed to vote. Having the vote without BYU, regardless of where BYU is, is dishonest. Imagine how Samuelson feels about this. If I were him I would be absolutely livid. How dare Thompson have a vote without BYU at the table.



If BYU stays in the MWC then many big concessions must be made. One of which should be that Craig Thompson steps down or is fired. See if the members of the conference value BYU or Hair more.

I think he is saying that it is almost assured because of the treatment that BYU is getting from Hair. That they are using vinegar instead of honey to try and catch the fly.



I for one see the slap and this may end badly because of the way Hair is handling it. It seems he is trying to "bully" BYU into staying or at the very least be vengful in his treatment of BYU.
