Press Conferences are Excruciating to Watch

i just listend to fresno state and nevada press conferences on the mountain. i feel like i am watching a high school production. the mtn is a joke and i was embarassed for fresno and nevada and how ridiculous the pressers were. hard to even watch.

Oh even better. Now hair thompson isn't even in front of a camera but over a phone conference. right now i am listtening to the phone say, if you want to ask a question press *. ...... duh, no answer. oh my, this is ridiculous.

okay, I'm watching the MWC teleconference now. It's even worse than you could imagine.

nevada didn't sign so they don't care. fresno acknoweledged they are going to have to deal with it.

hair is saying we are going to support fsu with helping them in regards to the penalty fee. great. now we can give up even more money to help the idiots leave the wac. so basically pay fresno whatever they need to keep byu's hands tied.

That is a joke! The MWC is willing to shell out 5 million dollars to get Fresno State? HOW ABOUT PAYING 5 MILLION DOLLARS TO BYU TO GET THEM TO STAY?!?!?!? BYU is your cash cow! BYU by far and away the MWC's most marketable product!!!

THOMPSON IS SAYING THEY HAVE MONEY TO HELP PAY THE BUYOUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He wasn't ready for that question. finally a reporter asking a hard question. He looks stupid. unbelievable. byu is not going to stay they are going to be so mad and they are going to make a brash decision that is not going to help byu. can the big 12 just invite us already! i hate the mwc.

I'm with you. This is just unbelievable on its face. I can't possibly imagine a world where the MWC invites Fresno St and Nevada without this independence talk from BYU. It was a grab to keep BYU sports from having a place to land if they go indy in football.



I don't think BYU goes the independent route without somewhere for basketball to go.

andy kats being pissed off with hair thompson about him making wac teams break their agreements. (sounds like he is mad because he knows he is going to look stupid if byu doesn't go now and he put a hiccup in byu and espn's plan.



what i came away with, a sincere and true hatred for the mwc. I cannot stand them.
