Colorado State twitter account hacked

Apparently Colorado State's athletic dept. twitter account was hacked and announced that BYU was announcing independence with ESPN tomorrow.



I for one am getting really sick and tired of the nerdling that is going around hacking all the twitter accounts/web sites. I don't care if BYU goes indy or not anymore, I just want this guy to get caught and spend some time in jail.

Is it illegal to hack a twitter account?



I broke into my sister's piggy bank when I was 5, does statute of limitations apply here or should I be getting out of the country?

Yes, it is illegal and it can be punishable by jail time.

Guys, please don't tell my mom. If you do, I'll hack your twitter account.

Another reason not to have a Twitter account. Reading the feed on the right is good enough for me. I've been considering deleting my Facebook account for the same privacy reasons.
