1st and last Receiving TD of the season

I was watching the BYU, OU game from last year and I didn't realize this until yesterday. Something cool happened last year where George caught the first TD of the season in the OU game and the last TD against Utah at the end of the regular season. I don't know what the odds of that happening are or if it has happened in the past, but if it were to happen again this year who would be your candidate? Would the likely target be the TE's again, or would it be a wideout? A running back out of the backfield? Or better yet how about a Heaps to Nelson combo? ;)

Nice catch. This year, couldn't happen to nicer guy than McKay Jacobsen.

Not quite the same, but KO Kealaluhi caught the game winning TD against Texas A&M in the first game and the game winning TD against Kansas St in the last game.

That's pretty cool.

I'd say McKay Jacobsen. If spring and fall camps are any indication, he's going to be scoring touchdowns right and left.



I would love to see the first play of the season be a deep bomb to Jacobsen, maybe off a play-action. It would be sweet 8)
