The team is working out gassers or something as they are practicing on the football field and have several times. I know they work out in various ways, but I really think this team will run floors with ease and should have lots of confidence and mental toughness...enough to beat unlv and unm on the road/home this year. I've seen several players throughout the summer and can't wait for our games this year...trying not to look past football, but our b-ball is going to be a top 15 team all year long.

It's really going to come down to how well Noah and Brandon play this year. Those are the two that need to live in the training room til October.

On the bright side, Brandon was on the team that just won the Taylorsville pro-am (with a little help from Tai and Mekeli Wesley)

I agree this is going to be a fun year. I was debating whether or not to buy the All-sports pass for my last year at the University especially given the "down-year" this is supposed to be for football. We'll see about that.

But the real tipping point for me is that now I can get in all the BASKETBALL games for free (and sit in the nose bleeds). Hopefully Marriott school fans can learn how to cheer loudly. Last year I only heard it get truly loud a couple of times.

debating whether or not to buy it? ???? are you insane? you'll never get those years back, of course you buy it.

trust me, someday those memories will be worth 100 times more than the little bit of cash you have to shell out.

why would this even be a decision for a hard core cougar fan?

Ahhh, I miss my All Sports Pass. My buddies and I would run up to the games a good 30 min early to get close seats. It's amazing how empty the place was 30 min before tip-off, then again everyone in Provo goes by Mormon-standard time.

I got to as many basketball games as possible while a student - both as an undergrad and a grad. I think only missed when I was traveling (I was on the swim team). There were times back then (part of this was the Danny Ainge era), that if I didn't have my student tickets, there would have been no way to get in. Football was just getting interesting at BYU at the time - Basketball was king. i'm amazed with the kind of teams that BYU has put on the floor recently that every game isn't sold out. Has the appetite for Basketball waned that much?

I grew up going to BYU basketball games with my mom and dad. We had season tickets right above Portal L, and everyone around us had season tickets as well. Now, those seats remain vacant for many of the games and it would be easier to get better seats.

It seems to me that BYU had that year that they had 1 win, and for some reason, the fans have never come back.

With our win in the tourney last year and Jimmer coming back, I bet they'll be more fans in the stand. At least I hope so...Seasons like this upcoming one don't come around very often.

I think the team has the potential to be the best ever at BYU, expectations certainly will be high, execution will be what counts though....

If our bigs show up... I agree 100%

Stephen Rogers and Kyle Collinsworth will quickly make use forget Tyler Haws (and that's no small accomplishment)

Charles Abouo is getting to play against world class competition this summer and I think this is the year his court game catches up with his physical ability .

All Jimmer has to do is come to camp strong and quick... and stay healthy.

With Jimmer healthy last year, we would have won at least three more games and the regular season championship, and probably some ramifications from that. If he stays healthy this year, no telling...

And play a little better defense? ;)

And more importantly, yes, if our bigs show up.
