Remember when Cardinals rookie quarterback Max Hall went off last fall while at Brigham Young after beating Utah? "I don't like Utah," Hall said at the time. "In fact, I hate them. I hate everything about them. I hate their program, I hate their fans, I hate everything."



The Deseret News recently reported that Utah officials are trying to put a stop to unlicensed merchandise tied to the Utes' move to the Pac-10 - and this after spending the past few months trying to stop unlicensed "Max Hall Hates Me" T-shirts that are all the rage. A school official told the newspaper that more than 50 unauthorized designs on the Hall Hate theme have sprung up.



"It is kind of funny, especially after the comments I made," Hall told our Cardinals guy, Kent Somers. "I can kind of understand it. It's a really heated rivalry. Playing in it for three years, it becomes a little bit personal. I'm just glad I don't have to play in another BYU-Utah game again."



He might be having one regret, though. "Yeah, no kidding," Hall said. "Where's my cut of all this money? I should have come up with that idea."

:utard:'s obsession with Max Hall is just another sign that their fan base spends more time hating BYU then they do loving their own team...it's sad really.

It's additional confirmation the Yewts Management is as "jacked up" as their fan base is!! All theings pertaining to "Yewtdom" are pathetic & self serving.



As for the T-shirts. Who cares. they'll have their 15 minutes. The nation is going through a recession. If a few enterprising folks can figure out a way to pay the rent & put some food on the table - Bueno!! Don't rain on their parade Yewt scum!!! (What a bunch of whiny cry babies!)

Oh they'll be wearing them in 10 years. Nobody hangs onto hate better than Ute fans. Like i've said, this game will be the worst yet for Ute fan behavior. Bronco's words will be prophetic (or borrowed from the Brethren)--namely the rivalry will be waived off for a year or two (or should be if behavior doesnt improve); and Chirs Hills "legacy" will be defined as infamous by Ute fans if he shuts down poor behavior or infamous to the rest of the State bc he cant and wont control his "poor, unfortunate, souls in pain, in need." I really doubt he is able or will shut down the poor behavior.
