I like to read and study a lot of the things that Hawking has to offer in the way of knowledge. His comprehension of his field of study is phenomenal. Add his knowledge to the wisdom we can gain in the study of the gospel and he really is not as crazy as you may think. Misguided in some of his conclusions? Yes. Incorrect that an imminent catastrophe shall come upon mankind? No. I believe prophets since the beginning have stated that there shall be a catastrophic day before the Earth shall be renewed and receive it's Paradisiacal glory. Correct?

Paranoid much? He is obviously pro-Arizona Border Patrol since he said we should avoid all contact with Aliens as the results could be catastrophic.

Earlier in his career, Hawking thought the universe would stop expanding and eventually begin contracting with time going backwards....Realizing this meant reliving Rick Majerus at Utah, Hawking quickly revised his theories
