So If BYU Beats Washington...

does that mean someone's going to start up the "Church of an Undefeated Season" (or whatever the heck it was called...) for the believers again like we did last year? Wasn't there even a reformed church? Or did that one officially count as an apostate breakoff?

As far as I'm concerned, we are shooting for undefeated every season...if that's a religion, I might want to sign up.

I'm in this camp, shooting for undefeated every year, and if it is a religion that means we all have to eat Wolfies favorited overpriced hotdogs!

What are they smoking in that religion?

Although, it could be a sign, watching more and more FSU players go down to thugery and injury.

were none of you here last season? Maybe I'm just becoming too old here. I'd go all the way back to last year... but I'm too lazy.

I NEVER conceed a loss. In games I play I don't give yards away they have to be taken. Sorry but it's in my genes so I am pulling for an undefeated season. I know these players can do it, I just hope they believe they can too.



At the same time I won't be shouting out we are going undefeated. I will say one down, next.

To paraphrase Max Hall, if you don't have the goal to go undefeated something is wrong with you.



The game is played to win. Sure we have fun while we are trying to do it, but winning is the bottom line. Until that first L comes, we should all be pulling for an undefeated season by winning one game at a time.

Amen to this, can I get a Hallelujah. You should always expect to win every game you are in because if you don't the game is already over before you play it. That doesn't mean you will win, but you should always go in with that attitude. I don't think Bronco is saying to the team in the locker room, "guys I don't really believe we can win this game but if you keep it close I will be happy."

Sounds like too much work for me. Maybe I should start cheering for Baylor, TCU and Notre Dame. ;)

I think we should either start the Church of the Undefeated Season:

a) right now, because the witness comes AFTER the trial of faith (http://scriptures.lds.org/en/ether/12/6#6" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;), and people that hop on the bandwagon late tend to not fare too well (http://scriptures.lds.org/en/matt/25/1-13#1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;), or

I'm leaning towards right now, because, to quote another "scripture," "When you're doing what's right on and off the field, I think the Lord steps in and plays a part; magic happens."

I can one up Magic Happens. I was at this game, and it goes down in the rivalry folklore as well. BYU gut punches Utah so often in this rivalry, and I love it. BYU-Utah 2000, at RES.

I admit proudly I was a 1st Elder in the Church of the Undefeated last season. Unfortunately, it was not to be. Yet, I still believe, if not last season, then perhaps this season, or the next, or the next. As a fan of my Alma Mater, it is easy to believe they will go undefeated at the start of the season or after a big and hugely unexpected win like last season.

Was there in the north-east stands, row 20, fighting off the drunkards, almost regretting taking the tickets from my Ute friend who said he had extras near the BYU section--anyway, Beck to Harline was aboslutely priceless!!!

I'll see your story and raise you sitting in the SE stands in the middle of the MUSS using tickets a guy in my National Guard unit gave me! Talk about going from deafening noise to being just about the only one in the immediate area cheering! Yep, Beck to Harline was spectacular!
