Salt

No, not the movie. I went to the Legacy Grill for the first time in a while last week, and found they have removed salt from all of the tables. Pepper, and a bunch of funky seasonings, but no salt. Asked the girl at the counter, she said they are trying to get the student athletes to eat more healthy, so no salt.



Except, she said, I could ask for salt and they'd bring it out from the back. Probably next to where they store the kava...



I know salt is a pain for people with high blood pressure, but didn't realize it was against the word of wisdom.

Kind of weird how salt gets such a bad rap. Aside from the salt sensitive hypertensive or someone with renal problems, it is probably not as bad as all the hype. ... Oh, and if you don't like bloating and/or added water weight then I guess it's bad (my wife's usual worry).
