nice to see our guy working his butt off. And his dad says he's happier than he's been since being drafted in Miami.

I would think and hope for John that this is a good opp. Washington, which has really not invested in building a good org over the years must be making a move to finally do something by bringing in Shanahan. And as an offensive minded coach, brought in John as a solid back-up guy.
