Dang...I have to admit he was one a the best college place kickers AND punters I've ever seen. I wonder if he ever had a chance to make as a place kicker? The guy was just flat out accurate.

Well, I'd have to disagree with part of that. For Louie, it was a hot streak. But his leg strength has always been an issue. He did not kick off for Utah, and did not take FG attempts over 50+ yards. Accurate otherwise.



As to the U, they were extremely talented in 2008, all over the field. ThE NFL agrees with me on that too. Of course, we beat them 3 of 4, so--COACHING.

Didn't this guy graduate a couple years ago? Are we really so petty that we have to sit around and talk about old Ute players? Kinda sad guys. :sulk:

I don't really care about former frutes but with this kind of accuracy and 'strength' (avg. punt of 42.1), why did he get cut in Canada? Obviously it wasn't just because of 3 bad games, methinks coaches didn't see what they were looking for. Best of luck to him in his future pursuits but the college game most not have translated for him.

That's the weird thing about kickers in the pros: the great ones you never heard of in college but the great college kickers just get lost it seems.
