By helping us keep up on the non-AQ teams, that apparently means keeping us up to speed on the AQ teams.

these are the exact same storylines that every one else is talking about! what's the point?



cracks me up how she mentions keeping up with the non-AQ teams but doesn't even mention a single one in her "there are so may more intriguing storylines" bs.

A few non-AQ storylines: can TCU or Boise run the table and with them starting in the Top 10, can they maybe play for the NC? Can BYU find a replacement for their all-time winningest QB? How far up the NCAA career passing lists can Case Keenum climb? How much will SMU improve from year 2 to 3 at SMU? There are plenty of storylines the nonAQ blogger should be aware of.

Is this a joke? Seriously, is it? First of all it is insane that they have 1 person cover all of the non-AQ schools. 2nd of all this Andrea girl is from Florida, where is the closest, relevant non-AQ school? Navy? Houston? She presents those questions about college football as if she is trying to prove that she knows what she is talking about. Sorry Andrea, all that proves is that you know how to use Google.



It looks like Andrea is the perfect replacement for Graham.



ESPN sucks.

If you read the article she says this before:

I think when she says more intriguing, she is saying "many more" as in "many much moosen" (Brian Regan fans?). It is bad english, which isn't promising, but I think that she is saying "There are also other storylines on a national level, such as:"



I think I will give her a chance. A single chance. One singular chance.

Or is she saying that the stories among the nonAQ are "more interesting"?

i don't know...i just re-read the post and it actually makes less sense then it did the first time...



she talks about the possibility of Boise St. winning the NC and how they'd be the first from outside a major conference since BYU in '84 and then her next sentence is, "There are so many more intriguing storylines throughout the country:"



more intriguing than what? Then a non-BCS team winning the NC? I'm sure that's not what she meant, but that's it sounds like. I'm just sayin'...it's a poor choice of words and poor journalism. Of course, ESPN threw out all journalistic credibility with "The Decision", so I guess she's a good fit for the company.

Something seems out of place...oh yeah...ESPN hired a damn Miami fan as the Non-AQ writer. Hell, this makes me miss Graham.

More non AQ news: BSC schools really are good, they have to be to be in a BCS conference. I like teams that have wild animals for their mascots. Houston is the best non AQ school east of the Mississippi.

6 of the last 14 blogs by all ESPN college bloggers are by her...in fact 3 of the last 4 are by her...and are non-AQ team stories...looks like she is at least making a stab at it. Of the most recent 14 the next closest in quantity is a tie with two writers blogging twice. take it FWIW.
