Langi would be making a terrible football decision.

If Langi goes to Stanford and ends up playing fullback/3rd down back like Stanley Havili, dont' say we didnt' tell him so. Havili has had a subpar, mediocre career in terms of touches at USC. He would have been the man here; same for Langi.



His loss if this is true. If he wanted to go to Stanford, he should have decided that before they signed 4 other running backs. Now he's just a number there.



Like i said, Harbaugh will not be there by the time Langi graduates... maybe they'll bring Ty Willingham back ;)

I think the main point of the comment Harbaugh made is how schools love recruiting Utah now. I heard last week that some PAC-10 coach said that big, strong O and D-line guys are growing on trees in Utah right now. It seems to be true as well. Look around and see the explosion of top D-1 talent this state has put out over the last 4-5 years, and that the numbers are growing. It was not long ago that Utah put out maybe 4-5 D-1 recruits a year. Now, many high schools are putting out that many each year. It is crazy. And this fact is what is going to help BYU get better and better over the years.

Actually, Langi said himself that Stanford is now the front runner. So the title was completely appropriate. And it let's BYU know they have to work harder to get Harvey, if they really want him. So goes with Mathews. I understand wanting kids to want BYU, but it needs to be mutual.
