the only thing more shocking than Trent averaging 9 rebounds in one game is that he even did that in ONE game.

He averaged 9 per game in 5 games.... I almost thought it was a typo...

Looks like the guy finally learned a bit about getting into position and actually jumping for a rebound. He averaged 7.7 rebounds his last year as a cougar.

Apparently a paycheck was more motivation than school pride. Maybe TP should have gone to USC. 9 boards per game against NBA quality competition is no joke; too bad he couldnt' muster that same effort while playing against lower competition in college.

My thoughts exactly. The prima donna suddenly has to work for it a bit. What's frustrating is clearly the ability was there. For whatever reason, though, he just didn't opt to let it all out of the bag while in college. And, the ironic thing is if he had played to his potential in collage like he should have he probably would have gotten drafted better and would likely not be fighting for a spot in the NBA summer league like he is now.



Let this be lesson to future BYU hoopsters, get after it, every game.

The sad thing is, I don't think a single NBA exec is even considering offering him a job. His offense is still terrible.
