Inception: Answer Me THIS Question... (spoiler)

let's assume that at the end of the movie Cobb is still in a dream "one level" down and that his wife (Mol) was CORRECT, and indeed returned to reality when she jumped off the building...



if this is the case, then where is Cobb in reality?



Is he in a dream which Mol cannot wake him from? Like a coma?



Is he awake in reality, while his "shadow self" is still stuck in the dream world?



If we assume that Mol is in reality and the Cobb we are seeing on film is still in the dreamworld, it doesn't make much sense, because there HAS to be a Cobb - awake or asleep - in reality where Mol is.



To be honest, I think this movie is a lot like "Apax" - in that there isn't a clear answer because there IS no correct answer - it's open to debate.

Perhaps they took him one level deeper, and he does not know it. Perhaps the Inception was on him all along. One level deeper would give him like 200 years, right?



Loved the ending, the guessing. Well done movie all the way around.

Cobb was at least one level down and physically they are all still in first class on the air plane. Not nearly enough time would have passed for that long flight.

We don't know for sure that the reality that his wife was in after she killed here dream self was actually reality or another dream level. Either was she obviously was able to wake him or the time ratio is so great that she might be trying to wake him but one second in her world could be much longer in his.



Either way I loved the movie. First movie in a while that keeps you thinking about it long after you see it.
