Would the Bill of Rights be Ratified?

If the Bill of Rights were proposed today to amend the Constitution would it make out of Congress?



All amendments that have been ratified, have been passed by 2/3 majority vote in each house of Congress.



But the only stipulation is an amendment is to be passed by 3/4 of state legislatures.

Yeah right. Congress voting to limit their own power. For the past 80 years, Congress has been trying to expand power, not limit it.

I think the Bill of Rights would Pass today,



except it would be about 10,000 pages to clarify exactly what is meant by "Religion" and what is a "Search" and which Government agencies would be created to determine who in the blogosphere deserves the title "Press" not to mention "MINOR" amendments for UFO and Aurora Borealis research for Alaska, harsher penalties for child abuse following a major scandal in Vermont, as well as huge incentives for the 5 remaining senators who refused to pass the bill unless their states were granted "Favored Nation" clauses for Textile exports to Russia.
