A Classic Destroyed

Got a box of my all-time favorite cereal today, the ever underrated Cracklin' Oat Bran.



Well, the worst has happened. They made the mistake of doing what is eventually done to nearly every other great cereal... they changed it



I'm not sure exactly what they changed, but the consistency and taste are about 75% worse than before. I can't believe this. I always loved this cereal, and I could always depend on it. This sucks. A classic... ruined.

Whereas it used to taste like cardboard, it now tastes like corrugated cardboard--is that what you mean?

That is probably my favorite cereal as well. Problem is, it's $5 + a tiny box that's barely enough for a few bowls.
