*Sigh* Okay... Props to Utah

Okay... I'm gonna actually give some of the head honchos at Utah a bit of credit... in joining a BCS conference it appears they haven't COMPLETELY sold their souls to the BCS. They are still on full attack against the BCS. I suppose it would've been easy for them to stab the MWC in the back and be literally "bought out" by the corrupt BCS, but it appears that that isn't the case. Props to Utah for sticking to their guns and fighting the good fight against unfairness.



I still hope they get their a$$es kicked in conference next season, though.

This doesn't have anything to do with the frUtes other than Kyle is their head football coach and according to this quote above didn't say anything against the BCS.



As far as Mark Shurtleff goes he is the Attorney General for the state of Utah and has nothing to do with the frUtes. In fact I have heard nothing from the frUtes that they are backing up the State of Utah against the BCS fight, a state that was fighting for them and now they seemed to have turned their backs to them. At the least they have turned their backs on the MWC and most of the teams they have been associated with since the early 1900's. They hate BYU and the only way they could stick it to BYU would be go to the pac whatever and deny them the opportunity of using their numbers for the MWC to get an autobid.



There is no props here, this is nothing more than the frUtes giving the finger one last time to BYU.

The Pac-10 has A LOT this year, not just the pride from last year's bowl performances.



Oregon loses the Rose Bowl, Arizona is shut out, Stanford goes down, and Oregon State and Cal both lose to the Mountain West.



Let's just say adding more teams was the good news out of last year's season.



Now the Pac-10 has lost USC!



Yes, USC can not compete in bowl games. What will the Pac-10 do if their champion is 8-4 against an 11-1 Big Ten team? I mean, besides lose again?



The loss of USC isn't the only hit, the defending champion Oregon Ducks pulled a Cincinnati Bengals offseason and seemingly tried to one-up each other on their police interaction. And no, they were not community service projects.



Personally I think it's not too much to believe that USC is the best of the Pac-10, and the league is going to take its lumps from USC's suspension.



Hopefully, Utah can take up some slack, because we all know Colorado won't.
