Amazing: Gordon Monson gives good advice

What can BYU fans do to deal with U=Pac12, BYU=MWC?



"Celebrate what you are, stand by your beliefs, and embrace the unique atmosphere at your school, keep kicking butt in football and win a BCS bowl, and work toward either courting a larger, more lucrative conference that is a better fit, or help bolster the one you’re already in."



I'm not normally happy with Gordon's opinions, but this one is sound.

Would that have been good advice for the Yewts??? Gordon Monson is a duplicitious, self serving, back stabbing, Yewt apologist punk.

I like Gordon's take on things. He has a real perspective that isn't based on fandom, but on facts. It would be no fun to listen to him if he always pumped up Utah, or BYU now would it? I agree with his advice here, good stuff.

I don't believe I've ever heard anyone use "Gordon Monson" and "facts" in the same sentence before. Monson is nothing more than an agitator. He publishes contrary opinions, not because he believes them or they fit the facts, but because they will cause controversy and get attention.



I think there are 2 sports guys in Utah that really follow a fact based approach to sports, Greg Wrubell and Dick Harmon.

So Hawkwing and Ddawg, I get your general opinion of Gordo, but wouldn't you agree that somehow Monson actually came up with some good advice here for Cougar fans, administrators, and team members?

Gordon Monson's take on things are based on Gordon Monson's selfish, twisted world. He's an arrogant punk - that's a nicer way of saying he's a biaatch!

I will tell you right now, it will be absolutely pathetic when Monson really starts drooling all over himself talking about the frUtes in the coming years.

My ideal scenario for 2011 is BYU goes undefeated and gets invited to a BCS bowl...and Utah comes in 5th in the Pac-12 and goes to the LV Bowl. Yes, that would be sweet.

I can't stand him on "The Gordon Monson Show" or whatever it is. He's just as annoying on the radio as he is writing his crap.



Like the infamous Boylen interview after the frUtes got hammered(by BYU I believe). He'll ask the most innept questions. BUT... It was a good thing he did it(that time), cause it brought a lot of sarcasm towards Boylen after that.
