Worst Case Scenario

Expansion for the Pac10 is all about money and they swung for the fences with the Big XII and struck out with Colorado and Utah. Neither school adds enough revenue to justify their existence there. There is no possible way that Utah is in the Pac10 if they hadn't gotten so scared and short sightedly invited CU.



The funniest part about this is the worst case scenario for the Pac10 is for Utah to make it to the Rose Bowl and no one tunes in.

Why do you think Utah is taking a smaller cut in money? It's because they aren't bringing in as much money as Ute fans would like to believe.



The PAC-10 adding Utah was only because the Texas deal fell through and they needed to get to 12 teams so they could have a championship game.



If Utah fans believe anything different, I've got a bridge to sell them in Brooklyn.

Kitic you sound just like a bitter BYU fan!! (BTW that is Utahs new slogan!) Once you get a signature on the bottom line for that bridge I will throw in Pacific beach front property in Idaho.

I am a little bit bitter. But why else is Utah taking less money? Utah was the PAC-10 EIGHTH!!!! choice at best.

Here's how I think Utah fits in the PAC-10 football wise. I think they're below USC and Oregon. I think they're well above the bottom dwelling Washington schools and Colorado.



I think they're probably in the middle. I see them very much like a Cal or Oregon St or Arizona were last year. Solid team, that had a chance to win the PAC-10. They'll be middle of the PAC most years, and then every 3-4 years, they'll make a run for the Roses. Which may or may not always be successful.
