Cougar Club Membership

Question does the number of members in CC have an impact on our attractiveness to the Big12? I saw numbers somewhere that had Utah with more members? Do members make the school more attractive? Should more of us join? The lowest level is only $50 a year. Also they need more regional representatives.

Doesn't Utah give their graduates free membership for a couple years, too? Totally inflates their number, which makes them look like they have more members forking out the deniro. Frickin' frUtes! I hate'em anyways.



I've actually been depressed this week. It's our fault really... For actually standing by our beliefs.

Utah "Crimson Club" members: 4000

Utah school attendence: 24,000

Club membership for recent graduates: FREE



All in all, BYU has about 4000 more paid club members than Utah. Though the whole "free" thing to try to get poor new grads hooked (and artificially inflate numbers) ain't a bad idea.

If they are giving them to grads, they must have a really low graduation rate. Are you surprised? lol

Young Alumni is $50, cheapest regular CC membership is $100, where I sit. Got mine for three reasons: support BYU, possibly get a better lower end zone seat, and be able to attend the monthly meetings during the school year. Has been an ok deal, and I'm notoriously cheap.

I could not find any details on requirements for each level or what they offer. I just view it as a way to donate and increase the numbers. I am considering one for each member of my family if that could help us get to the Big12.
