Utah won two BCS bowls, Boise won two BCS bowls.

Is espn just talking about football or all sports. The MNT compared them side by side and in all sports UTAH was the better program by far.

Did you watch football and basketball last year? Or football for the last 5 years? I fail to see how anyone can think that the utes are better than BSU in football.

Oh and the frUtes certainly aren't better than BSU in basketball.

Then why is Boise State higher in the Directors Cup, where points are awarded for all sports?

Utah won one MWC championship this year. Boise State will be much more competitive across all sports.

And yes, their football is much stronger too.

And on top of that, the MWC keeps the Utah/SLC market with BYU, but adds the Idaho/Boise market. That's a win.

This is yet another reason to hate the MTN. Pathetic game broadcasts small footprint and bad research. It had to have been Todd Christensen who came up with the numbers!
