Texas A&M Fans are P!$$ed!!!!!!!!!

Wow, sounds as if A&M fans wanted the jump to the SEC and are really bombarding the AD and University President for sticking with the Big 12. And it is getting ugly. The AD left a nasty phone message for a throw down wit ha fan on a voicemail. The Big 12 now has some pressure to improve the 10 teams, get to 12 and make sure the new TV really pays out big. Personally, I think A&M needs to win something before the fans act like they are this top notch program, when they currently are not close to it. Check this out:

I haven't read the article yet BUT isn't that what we want??? Let their outrage cause the Big XII to expand back to 12 schools.

Agreed 100%! I guess this is why I always hear my Texas Alumni friends refer to the aggie fan base those as "delusional aggie" fans. They think their football team is much better than it really is. Can you imagine how vain they would be if they had actually had a really good season or two in recent years?

Let's not forget that BYU is only about 5 seasons removed from Texas A&M is now--a good head coach away from being relevant again. Just like BYU under Crowton, the talent and fans are still there, but the coaching and leadership isn't [yet].

Who needs a good season? They had a good game and almost beat Texas last year, and that was with Colt McCoy. Alabama needed an injury to McCoy to win the championship game.

If they base their pride on beating, or "almost" beating Texas alone, while looking horrid against other decent opponents, then maybe they should seperate from Texas and go to the SEC, because it looks like they suffer from "little brother syndrome". If you base the success of an entire season on "one" regular season game, then it seems apparent that you shouldn't expect or demand the same attention as the schools who win at a consistently high level.

And yet they're angry that they didn't get more by choosing to stay in the Big 12. If they can't compete consistently in the Big 12, how are they going to fair in the SEC? That's why they're called "delusional", and that's my beef with them on this subject. They're not necessarily deserving, but they get a sweet deal anyway? They should just shut up and be grateful, considering that all their money and talent hasn't translated into consistent success on the football field. If they don't want their spot in the Big 12, then move aside, we'll take it.
