Why Utah fits better then BYU in the PAC:

It's all about fitting culturally with the PAC right? BYU doesn't and Utah does. Period. Here's an analysis of that culture.

The culture of the PAC is to get totally plastered in the parking lot right before a game, I'm looking at you ASU. Drunk fans are always the loudest (Specifically during times when nobody else is cheering, National Anthem, Timeouts, etc...)

Utah: Yes

BYU: No

The culture of the PAC, and more specifically the California schools, is to attend games when the team is winning and to attend games in order to be seen. Fans are fickle in the PAC.

Utah: Match made in heaven.

BYU: Never.

The culture of the PAC is adding silver to your team colors. I'll explain. When you watch a PAC game and look into the crowd you see the team colors and silver. Why is this? Well the answer is simple, empty benches are silver.

Utah: Every non-BYU game in history fits this description.

BYU: Big Negative.

So there you go, all laid out for you.

I feel better already. :evil:

In addition: Utah's gay and the PAC is accepting of them.

It's really quite simple.

At risk of hurting purplereign's feelings (and I really do like that guy) I'd submit that yewtah fits perfectly in the PAC-12 because the PAC-10 sucks. BYU pwns the PAC-10 and yewtah.

I am very sad that the yewts will be rich in money while we will only be rich in tradition, wins, trophies and awesomeness....at least until the MWC gets an autobid and also when dozens of millions of people move to wyoming and new mexico and idaho so we get a better tv contract.

You might want to do some research on the recent behavior of UofA fans before you launch that little cheap-shot ASU's way.

Sorry, worst fans ever are ASU fans. Steve Kerr attended Arizona and when he played ASU, the fans chanted PLO. Kerr's father was murdered in the Middle East. It was likely done by Hezbollah, not the PLO. But anyone who would chant something like that is despicable.

You are talking about a small handful of idiots who did this in 1988. Do you understand that?

Aren't we all talking about a small handful of idiots when we talk about bad fan behavior?

It's a rivalry, and that kind of crap happens in about every rivalry nationwide. BYU and Utah is just getting its first real does of crazy fan behavior. And it is will get worse before it gets better, but that also means fans are passionate about it. I can live with that, so long as no one gets hurt. The talk is fine--it is just talk.

My only experience with ASU fans is: She's a freak and would corrupt anyone with her lack of morals.

Because I've heard from people who were there and saw the miscreants removed. What kind of question is that?
