What would you miss most about Utah?

What would you miss most about Utah if they joined the PAC-12 - The school, in its entirety... or just its BCS numbers?







P.S. I was going to create a poll asking what we'd miss the LEAST about the yewts, but there weren't enough choice options...

Utah still needs BYU as much as we need them. The rivalry helps define us BOTH. Without it, both universities lose something. Utah will have no rivalry with any other school in the PAC10. They can try with Colorado, but there is no history there to make it compelling. Every other school has it own geographic rival, so Utah would always be #2--at best--for those schools. The rivalry is too huge in this state, helps the exposure of both schools, to let it go. Utah may be gone, but the rivalry will live on, and have a new dimension--conference trash talk.

The only thing I'll miss is that it was always BYU and Utah vs the rest of the conference in all matters. They actually had each others best interest in mind. Now it will be 8 to 1 votes against BYU instead of 7 to 2 votes against BYU and Utah.

Amen. Why didn't I think of that. Interesting why we haven't seen waves and waves of posts pleading for us to stay in the MWC "for the good of the conference." Where's all the MWC love?

The other bonus now is that when we continue to beat them, we get to say we beat another PAC10 team and beat another AQ school.
